Peace, relaxation, rest.

Sauna World at the Hotel Auriga

Regular sauna visits strengthen the heart, blood vessels, and metabolism. They also stimulate blood circulation and help cleanse the skin. As an added benefit, they boost the immune system. Our sauna area is open daily from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is permitted for guests 16 years of age and older; teenagers are welcome when accompanied by their parents.

It’s important to follow the sauna rules: First, take a shower and dry off. Make sure your feet are warm. Then enter the sauna and place a towel on the seat. Sweat for as long as you like, depending on the type of sauna, and then treat yourself to an intense cool-down. Take advantage of the ice grotto with its ice waterfall, the Kneipp path for water treading, and our fresh-air area. After a break in the relaxation room, you can start your next sauna session. Don’t forget: drink plenty of fluids during your breaks!

Finnish Sauna

The classic sauna, with temperatures ranging from 80 to 100°C. You’ll sweat in dry air and enjoy the scent of wood. Infusions create a special sense of well-being.

Herbal Sauna

This sauna, with a temperature of 60° C, is less hot and is also ideal for people who are sensitive to heat. Using this sauna is gentler on the circulatory system, and the herbal scents make the experience extremely pleasant.

Steam Room

The gentle alternative for anyone who finds the heat in a traditional sauna too intense. The mild warmth and exceptionally high humidity—up to 100 percent—are especially soothing for the respiratory tract and skin.

Infrared Cabin

Enjoy a gentle, circulation-boosting sweat session starting at 30° C. Infrared rays penetrate deep into the muscles, warming and relaxing them. Lymphatic flow, metabolism, and circulation are gently stimulated.

Brine Steam Bath

You'll start to sweat even at low temperatures ranging from 35 to 55°C. A fine mist of sea salt brine is regularly atomized, and eucalyptus and mint extracts help keep your airways clear.

Refreshment

Between sauna sessions, you can refresh yourself in the ice grotto with its ice waterfall, by wading in the Kneipp path, and in the fresh-air area. This is an effective way to boost your circulation and strengthen your immune system.
